Emotional Eating with Marilyn
What is
emotional eating?
Have you ever found yourself reaching for a tub of ice cream after a tough day at work? Or mindlessly snacking on chips while watching TV, even though you're not really hungry? That's emotional eating in action.
Emotional eating is when we eat as a way to cope with our emotions, rather than eating to satisfy our physical hunger.
It's very common to use food as a way to soothe ourselves when we're feeling stressed, anxious, or sad.
You are not alone.
Many of us have been there before, and it can be a tough cycle to break. But the good news is that with the right tools and support, you can learn to manage your emotions in healthier ways and develop a more balanced relationship with food.
